We held the First Surgical Grand Rounds at Florida Hospital Tampa on January, 14th, 2013. We had a great turnout, as the audience was filled with doctors, nurses and staff to hear Dr. Alexander Rosemurgy speak about the many topics surrounding Pancreatic Cancer. The topics included in his talk were pancreatic tumor immunobiology, heroic vascular resections associated with pancreaticoduodenectomies, and past clinical trials that he has been an active investigator on. The second Surgical Grand Rounds lecture will be give by Dr. Sharona Ross on Monday, January 28th, 2013, on The LESS Invasive Techniques for Cholecystectomy.
